About Zagora
Zagora marks the end of the road south and the beginning of the Drâa Valley desert. The famous Timbuktu sign on the main square reminds you that 52 days by camel still separates you from Mali. Smaller and quieter than Merzouga, Zagora is the launchpad for the Tinfou dunes also called the dune of the golden sand and for overnight bivouacs in the rocky hamada.
