I'm Elhoussaine, and I built Nmorocco. But I'll be honest with you from the start: I'm not the one who makes the magic happen. The guides and drivers are.

They're the heart of everything we do. When you travel with us, you're not handed off to a faceless company. You're welcomed by a real Moroccan who knows this land in their bones. The Amazigh guide born in a village high in the Atlas, who can name every peak and every pass and tell you the story of the people who have lived there for centuries. The driver who takes the winding roads through the Dadès and the Todra gorges with his eyes closed, stopping where the views steal your breath. The mountain host who welcomes you into his home with mint tea and bread still warm from the fire, the way his family has welcomed strangers for generations. The nomad who reads the desert sky beyond Merzouga the way you'd read a book, and the old man in the palm groves of the Draa who remembers when the caravans still passed through.

These are the people doing the real work: the early mornings, the long desert drives, the patience, the storytelling, the care. They turn a trip into a memory. So I built Nmorocco to put them first, to connect travelers from around the world directly with Morocco's most trusted local guides and drivers, and to make sure they're respected, fairly supported, and proud of the work they do.

This isn't a faceless company. It's me, my reputation, and the people I work with every day. Travelers have trusted us across more than 185 reviews on TripAdvisor, Booking.com, and GetYourGuide, including the local experiences we run on the ground, and a community of 28,000 people follows our journey on Instagram, where I share the real Morocco daily. I also manage guesthouses around the country, so I know firsthand what it takes to make a guest feel truly at home.

My roots are in the southeast, in the Atlas and the valleys that fall away toward the desert, and that is where the soul of Nmorocco lives. But wherever your journey takes you, from the kasbahs of Ouarzazate to the souks of Marrakech, the dunes of Merzouga, and far beyond, every guide and driver we work with is chosen by hand and held to one standard: the warmth, honesty, and skill I'd want for my own family if they came to visit.
