Chapter 1: Getting Started & Becoming a Host

Apply to host

  1. Open Become a Host from the menu (or nmorocco.com/become-a-host).
  2. Complete the host application form (about you, your experience, your city).
  3. Submit it.
What happens next: Our team reviews every application within 48 hours. You'll get an email once you're approved. Until then your dashboard shows *"Application under review."*

Complete your profile

Once approved, go to Dashboard → Profile and:

Host profile tips

Guests book hosts they trust. Strong profiles have:

Options you can use:

Tips:

Chapter 4: Managing Availability

Go to Dashboard → Availability.

Here you can:

Example, block July 15:

  1. Open Dashboard → Availability.
  2. Select July 15 on the calendar.
  3. Block the date.

Guests can no longer book that date, and it won't appear as available.

Keep this accurate. Your live availability is what guests book against, so blocked dates prevent awkward cancellations.

Chapter 5: Calendar Sync (avoid double bookings)

Connect your calendars so bookings made elsewhere (Airbnb, Google) automatically block your NMorocco availability, and vice‑versa.

Go to Dashboard → Availability → Integrations.

A) Connect Google Calendar

  1. Open Availability → Integrations.
  2. Click Connect Google Calendar.
  3. Authorize access in the Google window.

Once connected:

B) Import Airbnb (or any iCal) into NMorocco

If you also take bookings on Airbnb Experiences (or another platform):

  1. In Airbnb, copy your iCal export URL (it ends in .ics).
  2. In NMorocco, open Integrations → Add an iCal URL.
  3. Paste the Airbnb link and save.

NMorocco validates the link, imports the booked dates, and automatically blocks them so you can't be double‑booked. It re‑syncs periodically; you can also press Sync now.

C) Export NMorocco into Airbnb

To make Airbnb block dates when *you receive an NMorocco booking*:

  1. In Integrations, copy your NMorocco calendar feed link (a private, token‑based URL, you can rotate it any time).
  2. In Airbnb → Calendar settings, click Import Calendar.
  3. Paste the NMorocco link.

Now both calendars stay in sync in both directions.

You only need one calendar connected (Google *or* iCal) to satisfy the go‑live requirement, but connecting both Google and your Airbnb feed gives the safest protection against double bookings.

Chapter 6: Going Live (the readiness checklist)

Important: an experience being *approved* is not the same as being *live*. At the top of Dashboard → Availability you'll see a "What's left to go live" checklist. A listing only becomes bookable when all of these are true:

  1. ✅ You're an approved host
  2. ✅ The experience is approved by our team
  3. ✅ A calendar is connected (Google *or* iCal)
  4. ✅ The calendar has synced at least once
  5. ✅ You have upcoming availability (open dates)
  6. ✅ You've verified your availability (confirmed it's correct)
  7. ✅ You pressed Publish

This is why a listing can show *"Approved – not live yet: connect a calendar to start receiving bookings."* If you've connected Google but still see it, check the other rows, usually it's availability not verified or no upcoming open dates. Work down the checklist until the progress bar hits 100%.

Chapter 7: Managing Bookings

When a guest books, you receive:

Open Dashboard → Bookings to see each reservation:

From here you can also:

You never handle cash. Guests pay securely online at checkout; your earnings are tracked automatically (Chapter 8).

Chapter 8: Getting Paid (Payouts)

Go to Dashboard → Earnings (Payouts).

1. Add your bank details

Click to add a bank account:

Payouts are sent to your Moroccan bank account via Wise. Double‑check these details, a wrong RIB or holder name will fail.

2. How earnings work

3. Request a payout

Always keep your bank details correct and your balance above 500 MAD before requesting. You can see your available balance, pending earnings, and past payouts all on the Earnings page.

Chapter 9: Messaging Guests

Two ways to message:

Guests are notified by push and email, so you can confirm meeting points, pickup details, or special requests quickly.

Chapter 10: Reviews

After the experience, guests can leave a review (rating + comment). Reviews are briefly checked, then published on your experience page.

To earn higher ratings and more bookings:

Higher ratings lead to more visibility in search, and more bookings.

Chapter 11: Best Practices
